We Take It Personally
In 1975, I was involved in a serious accident on the family farm. After months in the hospital and a dozen surgeries, I ended up with an above-knee amputation. I have been an amputee virtually all of my life. I’ve worn basic prostheses and very advanced prostheses. As a patient, I worked with many prosthetists over the years, some good, some not so good.
I have made it my life’s mission to provide expert care in a personal environment in our clinics. Quite simply, we treat people the way I wanted to be treated as a patient. Additionally, we want to make sure that every patient has access not only to the most advanced technology, but the right level of technology for their lifestyle.
We would welcome the opportunity to serve you and for you to experience our personal commitment.
Tom Martin, Certified Prosthetist & Orthotist and Amputee
Prosthetics is the design, fabrication and fitting of artificial limbs for missing body parts. Whether from a congenital disorder or limb loss due to accident or disease, prostheses can be designed to replace both function and cosmetic appearance. The right prosthesis can improve function, boost confidence and ensure that amputees get the best possible results from the process.
Orthotics is the design, fabrication and fitting of custom braces to treat foot, ankle, knee, and spinal problems. These braces provide external support to treat disorders, weakened or injured joints and/or muscle groups.
